SINCRONIE REMIX 2011 - THE CHOSEN REMIXES

It was requested to the applicants the production of maximum two remixes of Fausto Romitelli's "Nell'alto dei giorni immobili" starting from a live recording by Zagros.
The four selected winners are: Andrea Mancianti (IT), Diego Capoccitti (IT), Neil Kaczor (UK) and WK569 (IT). Their remixes together with original recording of Romitelli's work will be published on the vinyl AM002 by Altremusiche and Sincronie.

The jury was composed by: Michele Coralli (journalist, director of altremusiche.it), Mario Garuti (composer), Geert-Jan Hobjin (sound artist, founder of Staalplaat), Riccardo Nova (composer, composer, member of Sincronie’s governing council), Tom Pauwels (artistic advisor of Ictus Ensemble and musician), Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner (conceptual artist, writer and musician) and Massimiliano Viel (composer, member of Sincronie’s governing council, member of otolab).

Due to the high quality of the work we received we decided to present here the chosen remixes that couldn't succeed in reaching the first four places but that nonetheless well deserve to be presented to a wide audience.
